This Orange Berry Fruit Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing is overflowing with new berries, mandarin oranges and prepared with a nectar mandarin orange poppy seed dressing. Only a basic, sweet, nutritious treat! This formula is Paleo agreeable, veggie lover, dairy free, gluten free and grain free.
I'm extremely fortunate to not have a fastidious eater in my home. My little girl eats pretty much everything without exception. Organic products, veggies, proteins, carbs and my many, numerous unusual formula tests. She cheerfully eats them all (occasionally with a little side eye) and gives her ruthlessly legitimate taste analyzer supposition.
Her outright most loved thing to eat is berries. There is no side eye with regards to berries. Living in California we approach new berries for practically a large portion of the year. There are heaps of strawberry fields in our general vicinity and we stop by two times per week during the strawberry season 🍓❤ So while we ordinarily eat our berries new and plain, this Orange Berry Fruit Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing is incredible for those berries that are getting somewhat delicate and should be spent fast. Ingredients
Salad
- 16 ounces Strawberries, (tops removed, cut into bite sized pieces)
- 8 ounces Blueberries
- 8 ounces Blackberries
- 8 ounces Raspberries
- 5 Mandarin Oranges, (peeled, segmented)
Dressing
- 1/2 Cup Honey
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Mandarin Orange Juice, (or regular fresh orange juice)
- 2 teaspoons Poppy Seeds
- Pinch Sea Salt
Instructions
- Mix dressing ingredients until fully incorporated.
- Gently toss fruit in half of the poppy seed dressing. Reserve the remaining dressing for serving.
